Koala and Kangaroo stickers directly go towards helping save the wildlife in the record-breaking Australian fires early this year. More than 800 million animals have died in Australia due to fires and by other indirect causes such as dehydration, starvation, or habitat loss. For perspective, there are 329 million people living in USA as of 2019. Professor of Ecology at University of Sydney, Chris Dickman, estimates that the number of animals affected will likely surpass 1 billion. Proceeds of Koala and Kangaroo stickers will directly be donated to World Wildlife Fund. WWF are using donations to care for all injured wildlife and will be planting 10,000 native trees in critical koala habitats like the "Koala Triangle," the heartland of Australia's healthiest wild koala populations.
Elephant and Rhino stickers directly go towards helping anti-poaching, protecting habitats, community-tolerance, and continuing to reduce and enforce the ivory-ban. In 2012—a year in which poachers killed at least 745 rhinos and 22,000 elephants in Africa alone. In 2017 alone, 1028 rhinos were killed. The last three years, poachers have killed an estimate of 100,000 elephants. The greatest threat to African elephants is largely poaching for black markets while the biggest threat to Asian elephants is habitat loss from human-elephant conflicts. Proceeds of Elephant and Rhino stickers will directly be donated to WWF to stop wildlife crime. Stamping out wildlife crime is a priority for WWF because it’s the largest direct threat to the future of many of the world’s most threatened species. It is second only to habitat destruction in overall threats against species survival.
